Letters to Cody

You can send a letter via "pouch mail". This requires normal postage (.46 cents). Letters must be single sheet, folded into three panels, and taped at the top. No envelopes.

All large envelopes and packages will be opened by the customs official and a "duty" will be applied. Duty in Ghana is substantial. They say that the flat rate envelope that mails for $16.95 from the USA usually gets through with no duty. It would be a good idea to reinforce the envelope with tape as they do arrive torn occasionally.
